I love this time of year. It feels so fresh and we can finally wind down after all the holiday planning. I'm also one of those people that *loves* New Years Resolutions. Not the huge resolutions that are out of your control and lead to disappointment. Those are more like wishes to me. I like the small tweaks to everyday life that streamline things, get rid of the chaos, and make you a little less stressed.
These are the changes we can stick with for the long haul.
We are all a work in progress, right? Looking back on how you have changed is amazing, and sometimes hilarious. {Like when I went to my 15 year high school reunion a few days ago. Why were people surprised that I got married and *still live here*? Ha ha ha, anyway...}

I searched blogs and websites for ideas of how I am going to begin this decluttering process. Many of the websites just showed crafty ways to store things and how to cover containers in wallpaper to make them pretty. No thanks. I don't want all the *things*. The *things* are the problem.

Then I landed on this blog, zen habits and I.can't.stop.reading.it.
